Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026. This policy covers the CallBail website at callbail.com. It is short because the site collects very little.
The short version
- No accounts, no sign-up, and no forms on this site.
- Our own code sets no cookies, and we run no advertising or third-party tracking scripts.
- The fake call simulator runs entirely in your browser. What you type or choose in it is not sent to us.
- Our host, Cloudflare, sees technical request data when you load a page, as any web host does.
- We do not sell personal information.
What we collect
We do not ask you for personal information to read this site. The only data we receive comes from two places.
Hosting logs. The site is served through Cloudflare. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare processes technical details such as your IP address, the page requested, your browser type, and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the page, block abuse, and keep the site running. We do not use them to identify or profile individual visitors.
Email you send us. If you write to support@callbail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you, and we keep it only as long as needed to resolve your question. See Support for what to include.
Analytics
Analytics are not switched on yet. When we enable them, we plan to use only Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is designed to work without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. It reports totals such as page views and referring sites. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or social media trackers, and we do not load fonts or scripts from other companies.
The in-browser simulator
The simulator on the fake call page is JavaScript that runs on your device. The caller name, timing and other choices you make stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no call, text or notification is ever sent to another person. If a page remembers a preference, it does so in your browser's own storage on your device, which we cannot read and you can clear at any time.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. Because the site is delivered through Cloudflare, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie in some cases, for example to tell real visitors from abusive bots. It is not used for advertising. If we ever add anything that needs a cookie, we will say so here first.
The iPhone app
CallBail for iPhone is not released yet. When it launches in the App Store, it will have its own privacy policy and the privacy details Apple requires on the listing. Those will describe exactly what the app does on your phone, and they will take precedence for the app. This page will link to them. Until then, read about how it is planned to work on the iPhone page.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell or rent personal information. Cloudflare processes data on our behalf to host and protect the site, under its own terms and privacy policy. We may disclose information if the law requires it. Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare according to its own retention practices.
Children
The site is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
Because we hold almost nothing about you, there is usually little to access or delete. If you emailed us and want that message removed, or if you have a privacy question, write to support@callbail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will respond to valid requests. For how the service may and may not be used, read our Terms and the FAQ.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the site collects, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. To learn who makes CallBail, see the About page.
